I am truly humbled to bring you greetings on behalf of the members of Alpha Beta Beta Omega Chapter. We are located in Canton, Ohio, a city in Northeast Ohio known for the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Black College Football Hall of Fame Classic. The Classic offers a weekend filled with exhilarating fun, tailgating, music and other entertainment!

 

Established in 1908, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is the oldest sorority established by African-American women in our nation. Under the leadership of our International President & CEO, Danette Anthony Reed, the 2022-2026 International Program Initiatives are Soaring to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood and addresses six target areas: Strengthening Our Sisterhood; Empowering Our Families, Building Our Economic Wealth, Enhancing Our Environment, Advocating for Social Justice, and Uplifting Our Local Community.

 

Alpha Beta Beta Omega was chartered on December 5, 2021 to serve Canton and the greater Stark County area. Fifteen extraordinary women sought to expand the legacy and reach of Alpha Kappa Alpha in the Great Lakes Region. Our membership represents an array of professional women of high scholastic achievement, diverse occupations, skills, interests, generations, and backgrounds.

 

I am honored and grateful for the privilege to serve as the 2nd President of Alpha Beta Beta Omega Chapter. Under my administration, ABBO will continue to build on the pillars set in place by our founders. It is our commitment to make a difference in our community. We invite you to support our initiatives and work with us to make a positive impact in the communities of Canton, Alliance, Massillon and beyond.
